We have the following on the inside of the card:
Blessing Blanket
This blanket has been prayed over with you and your baby in mind. May you be filled with the peace of your loving Father. May your heart be filled with love, joy and the security that God is the complete provider Who will provide for all your needs. May God Bless You and the wonderful new life that He has entrusted to you. You and your baby are precious to Him!
I also have the scripture notation for Psalms 91 and John 3:16. On the back is the name of our ministry and address. You can put your name and address on the back. |

Outside of Card:
This card, made from a sheet of copy paper, has the front left blank. This is where the children draw pictures. You must instruct them to draw pictures that would make a mom smile. Bombings, people screaming and houses burning, etc. just aren't happy pictures. Good subjects are babies, moms holding babies, cute animals, flowers, trucks, swing sets and other neutral objects. Words such as "don't kill your baby" are not appropriate. Have the children sign their name, or, for the smaller ones, sign it yourself: "By Joey, age 1". Scribbles work great: there just isn't anyone too young as long as they can hold a crayon. Be careful though, they might eat it! |
